課程概述

本課程介紹1789-1980年間的歐洲,以社會與文化為主軸,以經典作品的導讀與討論為主軸,並以相關教學短片為輔助討論,期使修課者深化人文素養。透過指定讀物之課堂報告,並加強其英語閱讀能力,強化其口語、演說與寫作之溝通能力。進而透過期末書面報告,促使學生練習提出歷史問題並嘗試解釋方法,作為接觸西方近現代文化的基礎,成為人文社會的積極參與者,並提高其文字溝通水平,培養領導力。
